Gibsons

Bonniebrook At Bonniebrook one house fire in October 2023 destroyed one home and damaged three more, and it took three fire departments to stop it.
Elphinstone Elphinstone is SCRD Electoral Area E, 21.6 square kilometres of acreages west and north of the Town, with seven mapped hazard areas and no town services.
Gibsons Landing The Landing is inside the Town of Gibsons, on Town wells and Town hydrants, and its sewer line runs through the foreshore below high tide.
Gower Point Gower Point Road starts inside the Town of Gibsons and ends in SCRD Area E, and the Coast's rainfall has been measured by hand on this road since 1961.
Granthams Landing Granthams Landing has 78 water connections against roughly 160 households, and since 2023 its taps have followed Chapman system restrictions.
Hopkins Landing Hopkins Landing runs its own improvement district water system, 170 properties and eleven hydrants, and the RCMP logged no calls here in a full quarter.
Langdale Langdale's 223 properties and the ferry terminal draw on a single well on Aquifer 552, and the fire protection district runs out inside the community.
Port Mellon The fire protection district ends at YMCA Road, the wildfire plan rates Port Mellon high risk, and the mill that filled this road was idled in August 2026.
Soames Point Ninety-four houses at Soames Point sit above a working water source, with four regional park trailheads ending on four residential streets.
Upper Gibsons Upper Gibsons carries Highway 101, the fire hall, the community police office and almost every street named in the RCMP property-crime record.

Roberts Creek

B&K Road B&K Road appears in the community plan's well list but not in the BC Digital Road Atlas or the provincial address index, which changes how anyone finds it.
Beach Avenue Beach Avenue is the shoreline route toward Sechelt, 3,289 metres of it, and its creek culvert sat on temporary works for nearly four years.
Day Road Day Road is 831 metres long and crosses two named creeks, Gough and Clack, both of which failed in the November 2021 atmospheric river.
Flume Road Flume Road is the first street named on the OCP's list of Roberts Creek properties served by private or community wells, and no hydrant follows a well.
Largo Road Largo Road became a through route from Lower Road to Highway 101 in late 2019, and its own residents went on the record asking for it to be closed again.
Leek Road Leek Road sits at the eastern edge of Roberts Creek, and on 4 November 2024 it was the point the province measured a road closure from.
Lockyer Road Lockyer Road runs 3,551 metres, of which the top 1,163 are gravel, and every property on it draws from a well rather than a regional main.
Lower Road Lower Road is the longest road in Roberts Creek and the one the province sends Highway 101 traffic down whenever the highway shuts.
Malcolm Creek Rd Malcolm Creek Road is 649 metres long, paved for the first 143, and an excavator was taken from a job site on it overnight in October 2021.
Ocean Beach Espl Ocean Beach Esplanade runs 2,710 metres along the shore, crosses Whittaker Creek, and had the same two cabins ordered out twice in twenty months.
Orange Road Orange Road is 696 metres of gravel with no paved section anywhere on it, and the house fire of 3 November 2023 drew three fire departments.
Roberts Creek Rd Roberts Creek Road carries the pier, the elementary school and the fire hall on 2,426 paved metres between Highway 101 and the beach.
Stephens Road Stephens Road is the shortest road in Roberts Creek at 215 metres, entirely gravel, and it gave its name to the November 2021 Lower Road closure.
Upper Roberts Creek Upper Roberts Creek is the community plan's own name for everything above Highway 101, where the regional water main stops and the wells begin.

Davis Bay

Bay Road Bay Road is the named eastern end of the poorest-draining, unsidewalked stretch of Highway 101 in Davis Bay, on half-acre lots behind an old creek floodplain.
Davis Bay Road Davis Bay Road carries the elementary school and a 61-unit strata building, and it is one of the two streets used to name a closed section of Highway 101.
Fir Road Fir Road sits on the Davis Bay slope behind Mission Point, on regional district water and private septic fields, with a path to the elementary school.
Havies Road Havies Road has large level lots with workshops, sheds and septic fields, beside a 99-house strata build, on a road the District judged too narrow for it.
Laurel Avenue Laurel Avenue carries the address of The Havies, a 99-house strata under construction, alongside older detached housing on three different postal codes.
Mission Point Mission Point is the headland where Chapman Creek reaches the sea, on an estuary that was cut in 1936 and behind the only road bridge over the creek.
Nestman Road Nestman Road is the main access for a 99-lot subdivision, the edge of Sechelt's sewer system on this side of town, and still has vacant lots for sale.
Selma Park Selma Park is an officially named community where two local governments share one hillside, and where the boat launch belongs to the shíshálh Nation.
Tamarack Place Tamarack Place is the 1990s block of Davis Bay Estates, on regional district water and District of Sechelt drainage, cleared last in a snow event.
Westley Road Westley Road meets Highway 101 in Davis Bay and is one of the two streets the District used to name the highway closure of 13 January 2021.
Whitaker Road Whitaker Road is the residential street closest to Mission Point, and it holds the oldest documented houses in Davis Bay, including a 1958 bungalow.

Sechelt

Downtown Sechelt The Cowrie, Teredo, Trail and Inlet grid holds the fire hall, the RCMP detachment and the ambulance station, and it generates half of Sechelt's fire calls.
East Porpoise Bay East Porpoise Bay holds the highest snowfall measurement published for the lower Sunshine Coast: 42 cm on 3 and 4 February 2025.
Gale Avenue North Gale Avenue North is a lived-in street of half-acre lots that ends at a gate, beyond which fourteen houses have been stripped since 2019.
Mason Road Mason Road runs from the Strait of Georgia to Norwest Bay Road, from serviced 1960s lots at the bottom to unserviced ALR acreage at the top.
Norwest Bay Road Norwest Bay Road runs from the beach across Highway 101 past West Sechelt Elementary, on water, sewer and gas, at an intersection the province declined to fix.
Porpoise Bay Porpoise Bay is the head of Sechelt Inlet, with a provincial park campground, a marina and a government wharf where boats have been pried open and sunk.
Porpoise Bay Road Porpoise Bay Road is fully serviced and minutes from the fire hall, and one resident there was still broken into three times in a year.
Sandy Hook Sandy Hook is a steep bench on Sechelt Inlet reached only from Sechelt Inlet Road, and its patrol zone rose 38 per cent in 2025.
Seawatch Seawatch is the 14-property subdivision at the end of West Porpoise Bay that has been closed to the public since 1:00 p.m. on 15 February 2019.
Sechelt Inlet Road Sechelt Inlet Road runs from the head of the inlet to Tuwanek and is the single road serving every community north of Porpoise Bay.
Tuwanek Tuwanek is the end of Sechelt Inlet Road and the furthest point in the District from its only fire hall.
West Sechelt West Sechelt holds more houses than any other Sechelt zone, and both of the District's named fire-flow gaps include its reservoir.

Halfmoon Bay

Cove Beach Cove Beach is a gated bare land strata at the south end of Redrooffs Road, at the crossing of the creek that has cut the road four times since 2021.
Curran Road Curran Road carries the largest residential parcels in the Halfmoon Bay plan area, on a stretch of highway singled out in 2021 for a 60-metre cell tower.
Mercer Road Mercer Road is where the regional district water main stops. North of it, every house is on a private well or a water licence.
Middlepoint Middlepoint is a locality on Highway 101 north of Wood Bay, on wells and gravel access roads, with Halfmoon Bay addresses and Pender Harbour neighbours.
Redrooffs Road Redrooffs Road leaves Highway 101 twice, carries the detour whenever the highway shuts, and holds the oldest cottage lots in Halfmoon Bay.
Sargeant Bay Sargeant Bay is the southern boundary of Electoral Area B and the closest of the Halfmoon Bay neighbourhoods to Sechelt, at 9.8 kilometres.
Secret Cove Secret Cove is the tourist commercial centre of the Halfmoon Bay plan area, and most of its boats and owners are gone from October to April.
Trout Lake Trout Lake is the highest point on Highway 101 and the only place on the Sunshine Coast with a provincial road weather station.
Welcome Woods Welcome Woods sits on bench land above the Redrooffs escarpment, on regional district water, with 73 hectares of forest at its back door.
Wood Bay Wood Bay is the northern limit of Electoral Area B: a half-built subdivision of drilled-well acreages under the road that burned in September 2025.

Pender Harbour

Daniel Point Daniel Point is the headland north of the harbour mouth, past Irvines Landing, and the furthest of the harbour's neighbourhoods from Sechelt Hospital.
Dream Valley Dream Valley is a subdivision off Garden Bay Road served by a private water utility rather than either regional district system.
Francis Peninsula Francis Peninsula is gazetted as an island, was officially Beaver Island from 1945 to 1972, and is reached by one short bridge.
Garden Bay Garden Bay is the harbour's second commercial centre, reached by one road that leaves Highway 101 at Kleindale and does not come back.
Gerrans Bay Gerrans Bay is the arm of Pender Harbour between Madeira Park and Francis Peninsula, with Whiskey Slough inside it on the far shore.
Gunboat Bay Gunboat Bay is the inner basin of Pender Harbour, entered through a channel that is passable only near high water.
Hospital Bay Hospital Bay is named for the twelve-bed hospital that served the whole Sunshine Coast here from 1930 until 1964.
Hotel Lake Hotel Lake is the emergency source for the North Pender Harbour water system, yet the houses around it draw their own water.
Irvines Landing Irvines Landing was the harbour's main steamship port until the 1930s and is now the far end of its longest dead-end road.
Katherine Lake Katherine Lake is the smallest of the plan area's accessible lakes, on a short access road that a single culvert failure closed for a year.
Kleindale Kleindale is the junction at the head of Pender Harbour, and the only part of the plan area with farmland in the Agricultural Land Reserve.
Mixal Lake Mixal Lake sits beside a 1936 curve on Irvines Landing Road that has no barrier and drops to about 25 feet of water.
Sakinaw Ridge Sakinaw Ridge is a bluff subdivision above Sakinaw Lake, on treated water from Garden Bay Lake pumped uphill, with driveways that drop 100 feet.
Whiskey Slough Whiskey Slough is on the Francis Peninsula shore inside Gerrans Bay, with a government dock that takes no transient boats.

Egmont

Earls Cove Earls Cove sits at the northern terminus of Highway 101, and when its ferry stops there is no water taxi to replace it.
Egmont Road Egmont Road is 5.85 kilometres long and is the only vehicle route between Egmont village and Highway 101.
Greentree Road Greentree Road is about 90 metres of road with a handful of addresses on it, 300 metres from the Earls Cove ferry terminal.
Hallowell Road Hallowell Road holds the only cluster of road-served houses at Ruby Lake, on acreages with wells, septic fields and outbuildings.
Jervis Inlet Road Jervis Inlet Road is a short residential road at Earls Cove, a few hundred metres from the ferry terminal and under two kilometres from the Egmont fire hall.
Klein Lake Klein Lake is reached by one gravel road, holds a campground that is open all year, and has no cell coverage.
North Lake North Lake is the one community in the Egmont evacuation zone that is not on salt water, reached by a gravel road off Egmont Road.
Ruby Lake Highway 101 runs down one side of Ruby Lake; the cabins on the far side have no road at all.
Sakinaw Lake Sakinaw Lake has 35 kilometres of shoreline, a north-end boat launch, and an air horn where other places have a fire hall.
