Photographic Property Inventory
Proof of what was in the house, recorded before you need to prove it.
Why owners do this
After a fire or a break-in, the insurer asks for a list of what was lost. Almost nobody has one. What is recovered is what can be remembered and evidenced, which after a bad event is a fraction of what was there.
Keys, alarm codes, lockbox and gate combinations, and everything we see or record at a property are held in strict confidence. We photograph the property room by room, record serial numbers on the things that carry them, and note anything of unusual value. You can then raise it with your broker before it matters rather than after.
What you get
- A room-by-room photographic record, dated
- Serial and model numbers for appliances, electronics, and equipment
- A written schedule of contents, listed by room
- A copy held in your account, so it survives the loss of the house itself
- An annual update visit to record what has changed
Please note. We record what is there. We do not appraise or value contents. A valuation for insurance purposes needs a qualified appraiser.
