About Us
MyCottageWatch is a cottage and home watch service for people who own property on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia and do not live on it. We believe in providing an affordable, dependable service so that you know somebody is looking at your property while you are away.
We can attend daily, weekly, monthly or on any schedule you choose. After each attendance you receive a report by your preferred method — email, phone or post. Those reports are the record you produce to your insurer to show the property has been checked.
We also provide storm checks before and after major weather, and we watch the forecast for this coast so that you do not have to.
Locally owned, and here in the winter
We live here. The value of a local service is not the driving — it is knowing which plumber will come out on a Sunday in January, and being able to get to your property when the highway is the only way in.
MyBoatWatch
We provide the same service for boats moored on this coast. Scheduled attendance, a perimeter check, lines and fenders, bilge and pump, covers and shore power — reported and photographed exactly as a property visit is. See MyBoatWatch.
