Insurance Documentation
A photographic record of every visit, in a form an adjuster can use.
Why this matters more than the visit itself
A claim on an unoccupied house is examined closely. The Insurance Bureau of Canada says most policies set out how often a competent person must check the house to make sure the heat is being maintained. Whether a claim for freezing or water damage is paid can depend on whether that condition was met. Your own wording says what the interval is and what happens to cover once the house has stood empty for a stated number of days.
When a claim is questioned, the questions are about the condition of the property beforehand and whether the owner did what the policy required. Records answer them. Keys, alarm codes, lockbox and gate combinations, and everything we see or record at a property are held in strict confidence.
What you get
- A dated report for every attendance, with the inspection list completed
- Photographs from each visit, retained and never overwritten
- A visit history you can produce in full, on demand
- A single PDF covering any date range, formatted to hand to an adjuster or broker
- Records kept even after a property leaves our service, so a later claim is still supported
For insurance brokers
If you place coverage on seasonal or recreational property on the Sunshine Coast and need somewhere to send clients who cannot meet an inspection condition, we would like to talk to you. We will also build the report format around what you need to see. Call us and tell us what your adjusters ask for.
